Peninsula Varadero Hotel, part of the Sol Meliá Hotel Chain, which opened July
15, 2001 and is named after Varadero Peninsula, in the beautiful Island of Cuba.

beach resort of Varadero and beside Mangón Pond, one of the most beautiful and
exotic beaches. The hotel has been harmonically integrated into a beautiful

quality, so everyone may experience the vacation they always dreamed of. The
hotel is 15 kms from Varadero town centre; 45 kms from Varadero Airport and 165
kms from Havana.

Peninsula Varadero has 591 rooms, distributed in 586 Standard Double Rooms (5
out of them with facilities for handicapped persons) and 5 Suites, forming a
modern and romantic construction of 20 bungalow buildings in a colonial style
with two or three floors. All are equipped with a full bathroom, hairdryer,
coffee maker, parasol or umbrella in room, dressing room, phone, satellite TV
w/remote control, radio, a small fridge, safe deposit, and connection for PC
Internet (with charge and on request), mini bar (with charge to be filled up).
We
have a wide gastronomical assortment of food choices, served in four
restaurants, two of which are a la Carte: (1) Creole and (1) Italian. Then there
is the beach ranch restaurant, and the main restaurant is the Buffet Restaurant.
We can also included the Snack Bar and the Children’s Corner Snacks. These
restaurants along with our five bars (not mentioning the one in the Children’s
Corners for kids and their parents), cover all our guests food and beverage
requirements. We assure you that our guests can count on exceptional service
supplied by a well-trained staff as expected in a hotel as ours – and of
course, it is "All Inclusive".
Recreational
activities for children in the Mini Club and the Baby Club provided with a game
room with table tennis, football, mini-billiards, Nintendo, TV and videos An
area in the children’s corner provides food and drinks for the children. There
is also a children’s theme pool with toboggans, rocking chairs and a children
park with games equipments and a specialized staff.
For
adults, our wide diversity of sports activities include snorkelling, windsurfing,
sailing, introduction to scuba diving, (water-skiing three times a week),
catamarans, kayaks, canoes, tennis,
basketball, volleyball, mini-football, aerobics, beach volleyball, water polo,
water volleyball, archery, rifle shooting, handball, paddle tennis, darts,
shuffleboard, billiards, javelot and stretching, among others. A complete
fitness center with Turkish bath, sauna, jacuzzi and more. Again, everything is
“all-inclusive”.
For
groups and incentive trips, Tryp Peninsula has a multipurpose conference room,
with dividers; very modern
technology and a total capacity to hold up to 400 persons. Along with an
administrative center with secretarial services, fax, emails.
We also provide a full range of services with additional charges, these are: hairdressing, shops, massage, beauty parlor, mini bar, and the multipurpose room.
