Room #511 was where Ernest Hemingway lived for awhile. The hotel has just been remodeled in the past few years and is now considered a 5 star hotel. The hotel's reception area is mostly a bar overlooking Calle Obispo. The restaurant and bar on the top overlook much of Havana and faces right toward the Morro Castle. There is a lot of history at the Hotel Ambos Mundos.
