Cuba's Sancti Spiritus Province
| Cuba's Sancti Spiritus Province is a real treat for many Americans. It not only has Cuba's oldest city of Trinidad, but it also has Topes de Collantes a gorgeous mountain resort and the city of Cabaiguan known for producing Cuba's most beautiful women.
Cuba's largest lake (Lake Zaza) is located about 8 kilometers east of Sancti Spiritus City. Few could disagree that Lake Zaza has produced the best trips in the history of bass fishing.
Ancon beach is a place where some of the best scuba diving in Cuba takes place (Hotel Ancon pictured above). Some of the very best hunting destinations in Cuba are found south of Lake Zaza. Two of the more famous are Manati and El Taje. Tremendous tarpon and snook can be caught in the Agabama River. One of the best bone fishing sites in Cuba is at Jardines de la Reina, a place many Americans know as the Last Paradise Keys. The scuba diving here is incredible to say the least. |
